Motion Graphics for the Hershey Bears
A spec project for motion graphics for the Hershey Bears broadcasts. Created as an rebrand to the Bears’ broadcast graphic system.
After looking at the Bear’s motion graphics, I designed a new system of graphics that would be used during the game broadcasts, as well as for the game highlights. As part of the research, I looked at both their current system of graphics, as well as other teams in the league and in other leagues.
Created in After Effects, the rebranded motion graphics include the team’s colors and logo. Elements of the game, like a hockey stick and puck, are also included. Additionally, elements representing the team’s hometown, Hershey, PA, are also included in some graphics to pay homage to where they are from.
