Photographed the Gamecock’s Soccer match versus Vanderbilt, with the focus of telling not only the story of the game, but the athletes as well.

Using a Canon 90D and a 70-200mm lens, I captured the Gamecock’s victory over Charleston Southern. The main challenges from this shoot were getting the right exposure, due to the sun setting during the game. The lens length was also a limitation, as it could not zoom in tightly to players for close-ups.

When it comes to post, they were edited in Adobe Bridge via Camera Raw. In here, they were edited to be vibrant, and cropped to tell the story more impactfully. Not only was it important to capture the plays being made on the field, but it is crucial to look off the field and away from the ball to catch moments that would otherwise be missed.
